A bit more about Donna: I use she/her pronouns and I am an ally of the LGBTQIA++ community. I am a white person in the 55 and up age bracket. In my twenty-five years as a family law paralegal, I’ve seen many people and families struggle with difficult relational dynamics and changes in their family systems. I saw how having an objective view and guidance from a knowledgeable person has really impacted people and enabled them to make intentional and effective decisions. What I like best about my work is the direct client contact. I really enjoy being able to help people navigate difficult issues and make decisions that align with their values and long-term goals. Because I value being able to work with people and family systems, I found my way to SCSU’s Marriage and Family Therapy program in 2019. I am beyond grateful that I was willing enough to take the steps toward deeper learning and growth in a career that holds great meaning for me. I’d be honored to help you.
